Told from the perspectives of four different demigods, including Annabeth from Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Mark of Athena unites the Greek and Roman main characters from The Lost Hero and The Son of Neptune.

In a fantastical ship called the Argo II, seven demigods journey by air across the United States and by sea to Rome on their quest to defeat the earth mother, Gaea. Meanwhile, war is breaking out between the Roman and Greek demigods they left behind, and only Annabeth holds the key to restoring peace.

594. before knowing he was a demigod, will solace’s favorite trick was pretending to be sick. his body just always seemed to get sick on command.  perfect fever, perfect balance between stay home and doctors. and then of course once his mom left for work, he was as good as new again, free to goof off.

591. since becoming involved with camp jupiter, nico had to be extra cautious at both camps not to expose that he had any knowledge of the other. he came close to giving himself away only a couple times, each time while practicing sword fighting with percy. in the heat of the fighting, nico would whip out a roman move jason had taught him, but percy was usually too impressed to be suspicious. 

590. the main reason that drew is so cold and bitter is because secretly she’s deeply in love with the one and only percy jackson. she has been since the first time she saw him, but she knows that she will never be able to have him. her heart is forever broken and that’s why she insists she and her siblings must break other’s hearts.
